We Offer Score Equity

Fluctus Studio has the means to provide equity for film and television score music. We can assist you in financing your music score when your film budget is constrained, all while overseeing the entire process.

Our objective is to fund and oversee the score of your film or television soundtrack, with the goal of optimizing the financial returns from soundtrack exploitation. This benefits not only our investors but also the producers. While each investment deal varies, unlike some of our competitors, we can offer producers a share of music publishing after recoupment, depending on the investment level.

These terms can be applied in different scenarios in the music industry, let’s see some examples. 

Exclusive publishers: the tracks in their catalogue aren’t elsewhere.

Non-exclusive publishers: You can easily find the same track in different sites, with different price/licensing terms.

Non-Exclusive music: the track is available for purchase by more than one customer, you can find the same track in more than one project, worldwide.

Exclusive music: 99% of the time we are talking about custom music that is made for a specific project, where the customer bought the rights (master, publishing), so the music will not be available for resale, this is the most expensive option, but the customer will have a signature sound that can identify the brand just listening to the music / sfx. 

Think to, MacDonald, Intel, THX audio logo, or Interstellar, Inception, Gladiator, and so on. 

Our tracks are mastered following the industry standards.

If you need other formats we can master it for you at no extra cost.

When you buy our tracks on iTunes / Bandcamp / Amazon, you are actually buying the track to listen to it in private, you are not buying a master use license / sync license. You cannot play the track in public or use it in any media.

No, you will not own the music. You will get a license to sync our tracks with your video/game project. You will not have ownership over the track, you can’t use our tracks as samples or publish it under your name on stores (spotify, iMusic, etc) even if you add vocals to it.

We own the master and publishing rights.

Yes.

All our tracks are for worldwide use.

No, it’s not possible. You need to buy again a new license that fits the actual project you are working on.

You need to buy a proper license to be able to monetize your Youtube videos. 

If you don’t you can still use the track for your Youtube video but we will monetize the video.

You will not get any Youtube Strike for the use of our tracks in your projects.

 

Once you buy the license, you need to provide us your Youtube Channel ID / link so we can put it in our allowlist.

In case you need to hand over your game video / indie film to Youtube Promoters, just give us their Channel ID and we will allowlist it as well so they will be able to monetize their videos and deliver you the service. 

Currently there is no limit to how many channels you can add on our allowlist. 

Micro-Licensing is a “new” option available for smaller / indie / low budget projects, to get access to high end tracks with reduced conditions.
